Hello beautiful people. My name is JaE and I am the founder of The Imajaenation Company. I am an award-winning singer, songwriter, motivational speaker, music producer, author and business women. I have over 20 years of experience listening and helping people...
...I have over 20 years of experience helping people discover effective ways to solve problems. I grew up in the church and although I've learned so much about the bible and so many different figures in the book, I was always left wondering, “What about me?” and “Who am I really?” For many years, I would try to unravel the mysteries surrounding "me." I needed to figure out exactly who I was on the inside, and release the "me" that was struggling to be freed. I leaned on my parents, my pastor, family, and friends for answers; everyone except "me." None of my loved ones seemed to have that missing piece to my unfinished puzzle. During the coronavirus outbreak, I found myself in a state of depression. I longed for someone to save me. After some self-reflection, I realized that I was the person whom I was longing for. I dug deep and found the answers to the questions of "me." I was the one holding the missing puzzle piece.
For years, I have been counseling others, offering up solutions for their life's obstacles, but at this moment, I needed to apply some of those same methods to my life. I had lost what I challenge my clients to find; "ME." I had to realize that I held the power and could change anything in my life that needed to be changed. I then decided to speak to a therapist myself, to address some troubling childhood trauma. For months we worked to help me release negative connections, and although the sessions were great, I was still left wondering, what now? After uncovering so much, I was able to cry, laugh, and forgive. There was still something missing. Where do I go from here? And how do I begin? I began to use my teaching methods of healing for myself. I meditated, I challenged myself to find what it was I was hiding on the inside. I prayed, and I listened, and what I heard encouraged me to press on.
Through learned techniques, I was able to coach myself out of the shadows. I finally discovered "ME." I wrote a list of things that I wished to accomplish and things that I wished to change, and I put myself on a timeline. After a few short weeks, I noticed that my check list was dwindling down significantly, and I was starting to feel great. I was getting things done and I was moving closer to my goals every day. I had become the “Master of Expertise in all things that concerned JaE”. My technique worked so well that I began to use the same technique on close family members and friends, and they too began to take control of their lives. It was at this moment that I decided to fulfill my passion to assist others to also become the “Master of Expertise” on themselves.
I begin to work with a handful of clients in 2017. I unintentionally found myself on the other end of someone’s telephone discussing the next steps for their lives. As a former caseworker for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, working in the welfare division, it was my job to assist in helping to improve the lives of my clients (normally adults, children or families experiencing a crisis) by helping them to access care and support services. I was a voice of encouragement and motivation for them to make lifestyle changes, and achieve their goals, despite any difficulties they were facing. I was making a difference, but I knew that I could do more.
I watched as individuals entered into this system for support with a goal in mind but ultimately found themselves stuck at the starting line. I witnessed as their motivations to achieve their goals dissipated and I knew that I had to do something about it. This trend of "the defeated client" continued as I made the transition into Real Estate in 2018. I decided to become a Real Estate Agent because the skill set required to be successful matched mine; an award winning personality, business savvy, honesty and integrity. As an Agent, I never imagined that I would connect with clients beyond the business of helping them find that perfect home. I found a much deeper purpose, one that would allow me to utilize my life coaching skills to help these individuals find their dream life.
As an agent I would often-times encounter those who were unable to obtain financing due to an unsatisfactory credit score. It was very disheartening to see hard-working people walk away deflated, feeling they would never be able to fulfill their dream of home ownership. Most would give up, seeing no hope. This was my breaking point. I knew that it was time for me to educate myself on credit repair. I learned from banking and credit experts how to effectively raise credit scores, and was now equipped to assist my clients so they could obtain the things that they desired. I affirm to them that a mortgage/credit denial is not the end result. It is only the beginning! They would soon learn; an effective, well thought out plan of action, will turn a denial into an approval.
At the end of 2019, I decided to form “The Imajaenation Company”. It was a long overdue venture, seeing there were so many people who just needed a slight nudge to edge them closer to a greater version of themselves. To enhance my business acumen, I went back to school and received my degree in Business Administration with heavy concentration in finance, graduating with the honor of summa Cum Laude. I decided to further my education and pursue the necessary credentials to become a certified Life Coach. After successfully completing the coursework, I was awarded my Life Coaching Certification.
In 2020, I put my journey of discovery into a book entitled, “Who Said That? A Story of Self-Discovery, Strength and Spirituality”. This soon to be released masterpiece gives the world a look into me as a person through the journey I’ve traveled to become the successful person that I am today.
